Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) isan X-ray imaging technology where a large number of 2D images are taken of a patient from different angles. A 3D volumetric image is then calculated from these 2D projections. The resulting images can be viewed with advanced imaging software from any angle, including the axial, coronal, sagittal and cross-sectional planes.
